Coffs Harbour Attractions

Holidaying in Coffs Harbour is never dull or boring with the area overflowing with a wide variety of attractions, activities and events.

Most visitors will instantly recognise the Big Banana as being the City's most notable attraction but venture off the highway and it becomes apparant that the area has so much more to offer.

The Big Banana complex just gets better and better each year and now offers Banana Plantation Tours, Ice Skating, Indoor Snow Skiing, water slide, Luge Ride and more.

Be sure not to miss the excitement of the Pet Porpoise Pool, get up close and personal with dolphins, sealions, seals penguins and a host of other sealife at the daily shows. The kids (and adults alike) will love the chance to pat a dolphin.

Check out traditional dutch life at the Clog Barn, take a drive south to the Butterfly House at Bonville or the Honey Place at Urunga. Sample some carob at Carobana, the working Carob factory just to our north at Korora. Take in a movie at our modern multi cinema complex or try the historic Sawtell Cinema for a unique cinema experience. Coffs also has its own live performance theatre with regular shows.

During summer the jetty area comes alive with colour and delighted screams as the fair arrives in town. Take the kids and dont forget to relive your own childhood by taking a ride or two yourself.

Walk down our restored jetty or wander around the marina and fishing port dreaming of a life at sea. Muttonbird island, reachable via the marina breakwall, makes an interesting walk and at certain times of the year the island is home to thousands of muttonbirds.
