Holidaying in Coffs Harbour is never dull or boring with the area overflowing with a wide variety of attractions, activities and events. Most visitors will instantly recognise the Big Banana as being the City’s most notable attraction but venture off the highway and it becomes apparent that the area has so much more to offer.

BIG BANANA

The Big Banana complex just gets better and better each year and now offers Banana Plantation Tours, Ice Skating, Indoor Snow Skiing, water slide, Luge Ride and more. The Big Banana biggest theme park between Sydney and the Gold Coast, featuring rides and attractions for all ages.

THE JETTY

Walk down our restored jetty or wander around the marina and fishing port dreaming of a life at sea. During summer the jetty area comes alive with colour and delighted screams as the fair arrives in town. Take the kids and don’t forget to relive your own childhood by taking a ride or two yourself.

MUTTON BIRD ISLAND

Explore Aboriginal history and Dreamtime stories at Giidany Miirlarl, also known as Muttonbird Island. After a brief climb to the top, you’ll be rewarded with coastal views of the Coffs Coast and hinterland. It’s also a great place for whale and bird watching.

BELLINGEN SHIRE

Nestled in the Bellingen Valley on the banks of the Bellinger River, this pretty region located just 30mins from Coffs Harbour, is fast becoming a must-see stopover on any trip to the Mid-North Coast. Home to an eclectic mix of farmers, creatives, young families and retirees you’ll love exploring everything this little township has to offer.

DOLPHIN MARINE CONSERVATION PARK

Be sure not to miss the excitement of the Dolphin Conservation Marine Park where you can get up close and personal with dolphins, sealions, seals penguins and a host of other sea life at their daily shows. A great one for the whole family!
